What are you hearing from your members about the National Energy Guarantee (NEG) fiasco? I think the industry is increasingly coming to terms with the fact that there is a significant group in the coalition party room that will do all it can to promote the interests of coal and to hold back and slow the adoption and take up of renewable energy. Increasingly people have gone through frustration, they've been through anger, they've been through despair, and now they are just holding out for the next federal election. I think that the industry and its supporters have baseball bats at the front door and can't wait for the opportunity to send the coalition a message that they are absolutely on the wrong track when it comes to their renewable energy and climate policy.
