摘要

In their review on the putative interference of the contraceptive pill with women's partner choice, Alvergne and Lummaa conclude that the pill can disrupt variation in mate preference, attractiveness to men, and ability to compete with non pill users for access to mates. We agree that pill-induced behavioural effects are definitely worthy of investigation and acknowledge that the authors express the need for caution because of lack of data and neat experiments.
