摘要

Chromosome numbers are given for 37 species from 13 genera of the Amaryllidaceae. Descriptions of karyotypes are given for 21 species (for 10 species for the first time). Karyotypic differences among genera and species within tribes are presented. The same somatic number, 2n = 22, was established for members of the tribe Amaryllideae. A karyological similarity between Crinum and Nerine was observed. Differences in the chromosome number between Zephyranthes candida (2n = 38) and Z. rosea (2n = 48) was revealed.
