Structural-functional state of periphery endocrine glands in maral within the period of unossified horns growth

摘要

Morphological, morthomethrical and histochemical research methods have established, that the shedding of old horns and beginning of new ones' growth in spring period at marals occurs at the moment of the maximal functional intensity of the adrenal cortex during the annual cycle, sharp drop of the testicle endocrine activity and activating of the thyroid gland activity after its winter depression. In summer period, when the taking down of pants (growing antlers) occurs, the functional activity of thyroid glands go on increasing, the indices of the adrenal cortex in a net zone testify to a decrease of hormone production, and in the testicles interstitial tissue there is a gradual increase of endocrine cells activity. The maximal increase of the givenstructures functional activity is connected with the reproductive period of the animals and complete hardening of antlers.
