The discharge ionization of cerium(III) at a solid-paste graphite electrode was studied by stripping voltammetry. The optimal conditions for the concentration and following determination of cerium in 1 X 10~(-4)-1 X 10~(-6) M Ce(III) solutions were found. The conditional constant of Ce(IV) reduction to Ce(III) was also calculated.
