摘要

In a field trial, number of differentiated rice grains was not significantly affected by application date of top-dressed N or by shading treatments, but number of degenerating grains was affected by both treatments. Late N application and increasedshading decreased number of degenerating grains. N use efficiency progressively decreased as N application was delayed beyond 26 days before heading and was increased by shading. Protein content in rice grain was increased by delayed N application.
