The objective of this research is to control the quantity of seedling for rice transplanter. In the part1, we reported the transplanting with small area of a hill from mat seedling. In this paper, we developed the used seedling detector and the hill space detector, and we tested them in fields. As the result, they fulfilled the requirement for the detector. We made sure that it could reduce the number of seedlings for transplanting to control quantity of seedling by the lengths of mat seedlings.
