According to Mr Gibson (pictured) the site is the first of its kind because, like ebay, it brings grain buyers and sellers together, with the site acting as nothing more than a host. "Our job is to bring the buyer and sellers together. We make our money from charging a fee," Mr Gibson said. The fee is charged at three per cent of the gross value of the transaction, although Declan said the fee was negotiable as the volumes traded increase.
