摘要

Under growing user requests for optimal network design along the spread of the Internet, we propose a new method of allocating network resources and traffic to maximize performance. Subject to the total network resources and the given traffic origination, routing rates, forwarding rate and link bandwidths are optimally allocated to the nodes and links by means of the Hamiltonian algorithm, which is a novel method to solve an optimization problem with large number of control variables. Successful traffic distribution to the possible paths is simultaneously achieved.
