Brazil has approved the sale and use of Corteva Agriscience's herbicide, florpyrauxifen-benzyl (trade-marked as Rinskor). It is the first authorisation of a new active ingredient in Brazil this year. The Ministry of Agriculture issued the approval through Act No 42 in the official gazette this month. It notes that a formulated product based on the ai for use on rice is in the “final stages” of analysis. That authorisation is expected in the “coming weeks”.
