Libyan Oil Minister Abdulbari al-Arusi looks set to resign from his post in line with demands from the Islamist Justice and Reconstruction (J&R) Party. The news comes as Polish Oil and Gas Corp. (POGC) announced plans to pull out its expatriate staff from the country. Ministers affiliated to the J&R Party with posts in the cabinet, including Al-Arusi, Housing and Utilities Minister Ali al-Sharif, Youth and Sports Minister Abdul Salam Guaila, Economy Minister Mustafa Abofanas and Electricity Minister Ali Muhairiq, have all been asked to resign from the government according to the local Libya Herald.
