New Delhi— Indian Oil and GAIL have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dharma LNG Terminal Pvt. Ltd. for an equity stake in the 5-million-t/y liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal being built at Dharma Port in Odisha, India (PCN, 18 May 2015, p 3). Under the MoU, Indian Oil and GAIL will acquire a 39% and 11% stake, respectively, with the remaining 50% held by Adani group. In the future, Indian Oil and Adani will each divest 1% of their respective interest to a credible financial institution.
