The mayor of London has been blamed for a "major omission" in publishing a transport plan that ignores the benefits of rail freight. Sadiq Khan's new draft strategy did not include any recognition of the role or benefits of rail freight to the capital nor plans for rail safeguards, according to the Mineral Products Association (MPA).
