Sequence and structural analysis of psbA gene and D1 protein have not shown any difference in isoproturon binding site in wheat and Phalaris minor. 3D structure modelling of wheat and P. minor D1 protein also has not shown any difference. Thus, how isoproturon herbicide controlled P. minor efficiently over the years still remains a mystry.
