Jubail—Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. said it has received approval from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy on its request to increase ethane allocation to the company to support petrochemical production. Ethane allocation will be increased by a maximum of 30-million standard cu ft/d, based on the availability of ethane from future gas production projects.
