Yunnan Scientific and Technical Bureau announced on Aug. 15 that Yunnan Metallurgic General Company (CYMG) has mastered zinc concentrate pressure leach technology which is monopolized by Canadian Hudson Bay company for 25 years. CYMG now owns the intellectual property of this technology. Wang Jikun, vice chief engineer of CYMG who is responsible for the development to the technology, introduced that the technology can realize direct leaching zinc by oxygen compression leaching technology and then electrowining zinc ingot after cleaning leaching zinc without emitting any off gases.
