Professor Matthieu Sollogoub, Professor of Molecular Chemistry at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris 6, Sorbonne Universités, Paris, France will receive the 2011 Carbohydrate Research Award at the opening ceremony of 16th European Carbohydrate Symposium in Sorrento, Italy (July 3–7, 2011). The Award is presented to a carbohydrate scientist, no older than 15 years past the PhD, who has made significant original contributions to the field, in its broadest sense.
