CILIP's conference season is about to get underway with Wales, Scotland and then CILIP Conference coming over the next three months. CILIP Ireland's Joint Conference with the Library Association of Ireland took place last month, with a theme of inclusive libraries. Now it is the turn of the other devolved nations to bring the profession together and share insights, knowledge and experience. The first will be taking place later this month, as CILIP Cymru Wales 2019 heads to the capital for two days on 16 and 17 May. This year's conference theme is Knowledge and Information Literacies, and will look at innovations and impact. There will also be strands on knowledge and information management and collaborative working. Speakers include Dafydd Tudur, head of Digital Access Section, Llyfrgell Gened-laethol Cymru / The National Library of Wales; Aude Charillon, Library and Information Manager at Newcastle Libraries; and Catherine Jenkins, Health Literacy Project manager at NELFT NHS.
