2021 MAY 03 (NewsRx) - By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Disease Prevention Daily - Current study results on Heart Disorders and Diseases - Tetralogy of Fallot have been published. According to news originating from Falls Church, Virginia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, "Patients with tetralogy of Fallot are at risk for ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. These abnormalities are associated with pulmonary regurgitation, right ventricular enlargement, and a substrate of discrete, slowly-conducting isthmuses." Financial support for this research came from Andre Chagnon Research Chair in Electrophysiology and Congenital Heart Disease.
