The State Environmental Protection Administration of China(SEPA) on August 3 issued a document approving Henan Huiyuan Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd's 300,000tpy alumina project that had already came on stream. Located at Pingdingshan city of Henan province, the company is a large-sized privately-owned enterprise with total asset of 1.2 billion yuan(USD148 million) and over 3.000 staff. The company specializes in production of aluminum hydroxide and alumina and its products have been sold to aluminum smelter, oil-refinery, chemical engineering plant and pharmaceutical factory in Guangdong. Guangxi, Hunan, Gansu and other ten provinces thanks to high-quality. The company is now the largest privately-owned chemical engineering plant in China.
