Jilin Midas Aluminum Co., Ltd is expanding production capacity of aluminum extrusion used in transportation in view of the growing demand for the extrusion from the Chinese transportation industry. The company is a wholly-owned company of Singapore-based Midas Holdings Limited. It has two operations in China: aluminum extrusion and polyethylene pipes. Its aluminum extrusion plant is located in Jilin province. The sales on Chinese market accounts for over 90 percent of the company's total sales. The company takes 60 percent-80 percent of shares on Chinese market of aluminum extrusion used in railway and subway train and the rivals are not many at present, said Mr. Zhou Huaguang, president of the company.
