摘要

The process of placing flowers or other materials in an orderly succession, with a gradual shift of some aspect, such as color (lightest to darkest), size (smallest to largest), or spacing between them. Sequencing can be utilized to achieve transitionas well as rhythm. From tight green buds to wide-open blooms, lilies at different stages are tightly arranged using a radial tufting technique that conforms to the natural shape of the buds and blooms. The basing coordinates with the color sequence above it, from green Kermit mums to rust-green berzelia berries (which echo the lily stamens). The whiplash effect created with pampas grass frames and emphasizes the source of energy in this design, the tufted lily buds ready to burst open. The long grass naturally floats, flows and releases over the projected open blossoms.
