Given the strengthening of theeconomy through 2014, the much-improved consumer confidence that seems to have taken root, and the amelioration of most other economic metrics, I was surprised to learn that on-premise wine sales seemed to tick up by an anemic 0.3% by volume in 2014. In2013, they were actually down compared to the previous year.
