摘要

Diego R. de Moraes Silva has a Ph.D. on Science and Technology Policy from the University of Campinas (Brazil). He received his B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo and his M.A. in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Campinas. In the period 2016-2017, he held a Visiting Scholar position at the Institute for International Science and Technology Policy (IISTP) from the George Washington University (GWU) in the United States with scholarships from the Fulbright Foundation and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Between 2017-2019, he was a research associate at the Innovation Systems, Strategies and Policy (InSysPo) project, which is a Sao Paulo Excellence Chair (SPEC) program from the Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He is currently a researcher at Sivis Institute in the field of quantitative methods and indicators for democracy and political culture. His main topics of research are obstacles to innovation; university-industry collaboration; innovation indicators; diffusion of innovations; R&D cooperation networks; policy design and evaluation; democracy and political culture.
