摘要

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) established and maintains the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (hereafter the Framework),2 a voluntary tool—that is, a type of reference guide—used by government and industry designed to improve cybersecurity within critical infrastructure. According to the Committee on National Security Systems, cybersecurity is the prevention of damage to, protection of, and restoration of computers, electronic communications systems, electronic communications services, wire communication, and electronic communication, including information contained therein, to ensure its availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and nonrepudiation.
