Swiss bag maker Freitag wants to ensure that its bags made from upcycled truck tarpaulins are not only recycled in the future, but also remain endlessly recyclable. To achieve this, the company has teamed up with various industry partners to develop a completely recyclable truck tarp. In this application, the demands on the materials are high. When used as truck tarpaulins, the ?rst task is to withstand the harsh conditions of European transit routes, so the tarp must be water- and dirt-repellent.
