Square billet prices kept falling in Egypt in September following the global trend. CIS suppliers are offering the material at $380-385/t CFR, down 35 $/t month-on-month. Despite the price reduction, trade remedy measures department of Egypt’s Ministry of Trade and Industry increased an import duty on billet to $65.68/t in September, up from $61.8/t in the previous month.
