A half-dozen pieces of equipment were added to the product lineup from Woods Equipment at the 2013 National Farm Machinery-Show. The manufacturer, based in Oregon, Ill., is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Batwing rotary cutter. The company, purchased by Blount International in September 2011, serves the agricultural and rural-lifestyle markets specializing in cutting and mowing equipment. There are 1,600 Woods dealers on the books, and 98% of the company's business occurs in the U.S. and Canada, says Jerry Johnson, president, products division.
