摘要

More and more electronics, especially for driver assistance and autonomous driving, impact the demands on future processor systems. With its unified processing platform, Videantis is demonstrating an approach that excels in terms of variability and scalability. The number of electric and electronic systems in vehicles is steadily increasing. Starting with ignition and injection systems, driver assistance functions with radar and cameras have been added since the end of the 1990s. The soaring complexity required - and still requires - a simultaneous adaptation of the E/E vehicle architecture, leading to a centralized and service-oriented ECU architecture, FIGURE 1. For software, this was addressed using virtualization, and multi-core architectures are generally used on the hardware side.
