摘要

Climate change is affecting winegrape production in a number of ways. One consequence could be increased humidity along with warmer temperatures, potentially leading to higher numbers of scale insects in vineyards. Problematically, this could provideideal conditions for sooty mould to thrive. However, as Hans Mick reports, new research could provide some practical options for tackling the threat.
