Thanks to the reopening of borders in some countries and the easing of coronavirus-related restrictions in others, the Asian jet-fuel market is expected to post stronger demand this year. Earlier, a rise in cases of the coronavirus Omicron variant caused the front-month jet-fuel/10 ppm-sulfur-gasoil spread (regrade) to widen from negative-$2.38/bbl in Jan. to negative-$3.64/bbl from Feb. 1-25.
