Over the week ending Feb. 25, all of die outright pdces covered here increased except for gasoline at the US Gulf Coast (USGC), with the sharpest rises seen in the West Coast Data released on Feb. 24 by the US EIA showed that implied demand (reported as product supplied) for major petroleum products decreased by 5.53% over the single week ending Feb. 18 to a three-week low of 21.483MM b/d. On a four-week-average basis, implied demand declined by 1.05% on die week to a three-week low of 21.879MM b/d after having hit new record highs in the previous two weeks. The EIA data also showed diat gross refinery inputs increased by 387K b/d over the same week to 15.847MM b/d. IIR Energy estimated that US refiners reduced their offline capacity from 1.169MM b/d in die week to Feb. 18 to 639K b/d in the week to Feb. 25.
