Lauded as the first such index in the world,it will incorporate real-time charging data for electric vehicles(EVs)as well as emissions reduction and energy conservation factors to reflect the comprehensive benefits of charging infrastructure and EV usage.The goal is promotion of robust development for the industry.EV charging in the province consumed 206MM kWh of electricity,estimated to have replaced 91.3MM liters/y(1.6K b/d)of fuel.The index is being launched joindy by the energy association of Zhejiang province and the provincial branch of State Grid’s EV service.
