The company has made a $500MM deal with US Development Group to purchase three rail loading terminals for crude oil, with a combined capacity of 85K b/d, located in the Niobrara, Bakken, and Eagle Ford shale formations. Plains All American Pipeline LP will also acquire as part of the deal a California terminal still under development and a St. James, Louisiana rail unloading terminal, bringing its total North American transport assets to five loading terminals and three unloading terminals with 250K b/d and 335K b/d combined capacities, respectively.
