摘要

This paper defines a realistic solution to a fuzzy transportation problem. A new method namely, cell-blocking method based on the crisp transportation algorithm is proposed for finding a realistic optimal fuzzy solution to fuzzy transportation problems. Also, the cellblocking method is used to check the validity of fuzzy transportation models. In the proposed method, ranking function and fuzzy arithmetic operations are not used. Numerical illustrations are given to show the computational efficiency of the proposed method. The cell-blocking method is an appropriate method to apply both for finding the realistic optimal solution and checking models of real life transportation problems with fuzzy parameters.
