Objective To analyze the correlation between the cross-sectional area (CSA) of lung vessels and emphysema and clinical lung function indexes by systematic review. Methods Searched of China Knowledge Network, China Biomedical Literature Database, Wanfang Database, Weipu Series Database, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science and other databases, and the retrieval literature was published from 2015 to 2020, Search terms include: subject terms Chinese (English): chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (pulmonary disease, chronic obstructive), computed tomography (tomography, X-ray computed), pulmonary small vessels (pulmonary small vessels), and their respective freedoms word. On the basis of searching and collecting data as comprehensively as possible, according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies to perform quality evaluation and data extraction of the included literature, and finally Stata 15.0 software was used for meta-analysis. Results Eight articles were included, with a total of 894 patients. Meta-analysis results showed that %CSA 0.05, r = 0.716, 95% CI (-0.245, 0.967),p>0.05]. Conclusion CT quantitative measurement parameter of small pulmonary vessel cross-sectional area %CSA < 5 has a strong correlation with the degree of emphysema and clinical pulmonary function in COPD patients, which has a high clinical value in evaluating vascular remodeling, phenotype and progression of COPD. There was no significant correlation between %CSA 5-10 and pulmonary function in COPD patients.
