THE publication of a new veterinary nursing textbook -Professionalism and Reflection in Veterinary Nursing - last summer was the culmination of more than a decade of planning and discussion by its two editors, Sue Badger (pictured below right) and Andrea Jeffery (pictured below left).Andrea is a high profile, senior RVN who qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1990 after training as an orthopaedic nurse in the NHS. She is known by many in the profession due to her many roles, which have included chairing of RCVS VN council and programme director of veterinary nursing at the University of Bristol, to name but two.
