摘要

Spain has well-established political and financial mechanisms in place for foreign investors, as well as a workforce accustomed to multinational practices. Other advantages include ease of access to the EU market, a favourable quality of life, relatively transparent business practices and a functional legal system. Through developing an environment for high-tech companies, financial services and innovation as well as a workforce with increasing technical skills, Spain has become an attractive location for foreign direct investment within Europe. A young and increasingly skilled labour force underpins policies for digitalisation and green growth. Buoyed by export income, tourism and its hightech companies, Spain has enjoyed steady macroeconomic growth in recent years. The government's near-term priorities will be to mitigate the impact of higher energy prices on consumers and businesses and to implement reforms and investments agreed with the EU to unlock €14obn from the EU recovery fund. The government also plans for economic recovery focused on ecological transition and digitalisation, youth employment, gender equality and social cohesion.
