Global flows of agricultural products have changed dramatically after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Exports of Ukrainian grains and cereals shrank to historical low after March, and the recovery should hardly be expected in the near future. Moreover, concerns about Ukraine’s grain production mount in the world due to extremely poor sowing results arriving from fields. The Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine is planning to publish the first grain harvest forecasts for 2022 in early June.
