CHINA’S Wison Offshore and Marine has won a contract to provide procurement services for the builder of an onshore LNG plant in Nigeria’s Akwa Ibom State, Upstream Online said in an exclusive report published April 18. In a statement, Shanghai-based Wison confirmed the contract but declined to identify the awarding party or the value of the deal. It said only that it would be serving a customer that was building an onshore natural gas liquefaction plant in West Africa.
