The cancer can occur in the genital organs or the breast [1]. Breast and uterus cancer (cervix or corpus) are more frequently concerned with a good prognosis for early stage: 5 years survival rate for breast and corpus uterus is more than 80% [2, 3]. Five years survival rate is around 65% in cervical cancer because of more advanced stages [4]. Ovarian cancer rate is low, but the mortality rate is high with 5 years survival ranging from 36 to 46% in high-income countries because of a lot of metastatic cases [5, 6]. Sexual function and intimacy concerns are prevalent in women with cancer or with a history of cancer affecting quality of life particularly in gynaecological cancer.
