Elkem, Norway's Si producer, posted record financial results in 2022 despite the slight decline in Q4. The company's outlook for the beginning of 2023 is moderate. Elkem's total operating income amounted to NOK 10.404 billion ($1.03 billion), down 8% quarter-on-quarter and unchanged year-on-year. The producer's EBITDA decreased to NOK 1.787 billion (-46%; -42%), while the company's income fell to NOK 894 million (-70%; -55%). The decline seen in Q4 was mostly explained by the decrease in the finished product price and sales in the Si product market.
