'Funny old thing, change', I was musing one Sunday last month over a Warburton's Toastie with Clover spread and Robertson's Chunky Golden Shred Marmalade while drinking Typhoo tea out of an Ikeamug. The Sunday was bright and dry, brought to you by the branded deity of your choice, or an accidental collation of elementary particles if you are of the Dawkins persuasion. The funny thing about change is no one finds it funny. We have been working for some time now at PI Global on the implications of distributed manufacture, closed loops and all that. It is considered to be either the greatest threat the industry has ever faced or even better than my highly branded toast, depending on your point of view.
