MOTOR SICH Airlines is a division of the large Ukrainian aircraft engine manufacturer. The airline was established in 1984 to fly passengers and cargo from the company's base in Zaporizhia and other airports across the country. The carrier's fleet has always been made up of Ukraine-built Antonov types, plus Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopters and Yakovlev Yak-40 jetliners-never any western-built aircraft. Today, the airline's fleet is a mix of transport types that fit both its scheduled-passenger and charter cargo operations.
