Fuzzy congruencies on semigroups and groups have been introducedand studied by Samhan (1993) and Samhan and Ahsanullah (1994), amongothers. Here, we introduce fuzzy Rees congruencies on semigroups andfuzzy Rees congruencies semigroups. Using these ideas, we establish arelation between fuzzy ideals of a semigroup S and fuzzy ideals of aquotient semigroup of S. As an important result, we prove that thelattice of all fuzzy congruencies on a fuzzy congruencies semigroupis a distributive lattice. Moreover, we obtain that a homomorphicimage of a fuzzy Rees congruencies semigroup is a fuzzy Reescongruencies semigroup, as well.
