The extension principle is one of the basic ideas in fuzzy settheory. In this paper Yager's family of t-norms is used within theformulation of this principle. A generalization for the resultingformulas of extended addition and multiplication to n fuzzy sets isgiven. Also a procedure to fix the parameter in Yoga's to-norms usinginformation given by the user of the underlying specific model, ispresented. The paper ends with two applications using the describedprocedure.
