Minneapolis: my lifeline, my lifeboat; I stand here beneath the nose of the Boeing 737, by the chocks. My knees shake, my hips a little too, which is why I take refuge in a place where no-one can see. It's rare-hasn't happened in years since my fledgling pilot days when we pushed the limit of our understanding, when experience was attained through undeserved confidence. And experience is what I gained this day, though for different reasons.
