New York—As US Atlantic Coast refiners lean more heavily on imported crude to fill their pipestills, they are bringing into the region imports of crudes not seen in some months. June’s imports of the medium sweet Norwegian Troll Blend crude marks the first time since January the crude has made its way to USAC facilities, according to US Census Bureau data, as regional refineries lessen their dependence on US crudes like Bakken because of weaker economics.
