Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries said it has signed an initial agreement with the western state of Gujarat to invest around 6 trillion rupees ($80 billion) in green energy projects and other ventures over the next 10-15 years. Reliance said most of that money — some 5 trillion rupees (almost $70 billion) — would be invested in the development of 100 gigawatts of renewable power and green hydrogen projects.
