Mark Dunkerley has devoted his life to aviation and the airline business. Among his many accomplishments, he led Hawaiian Airlines from bankruptcy to becoming one of the world's most successful airlines. Under his stewardship as president and CEO, Hawaiian grew market share in every market, entered Asian markets and forged strategic partnerships. Dunkerley joined Hawaiian following a long career track in the industry that included senior executive positions such as COO at Sabena Airlines Group, and executive roles at British Airways and Miami-Dade International Airport. Dunkerley's passion for aviation began early in life. His family traveled extensively and one of his favorite memories is of flying on a Pan Am Boeing 747 and marveling at how enormous it was.
